could someone tell me if a person takes soma, can they overdose? my best friend im afraid is addicted and going to end up dead.

Hi , i too face similar problem of muscle tension,but i have not taken any drug for this.i am leaving with it.i am trying to solve it without any drug,if possible.i advice you to stay away from drugs at least for this problem,try to make that particular muscle in motion whenever possible.

THANK YOU, BEE!! I Seriously thought that I was the Only Sane Person reading this blog! I suffer from Bilateral Femoral Neuropathy. Both legs had nerve conduction severed during a botched surgery 4 years ago, and regrowing nerves (I've come to learn) is just about the most painful thing that the human body can do. I have been taking up to Four (4) 350mg Soma for 2 1/2 years now. I started it as an experiment with my Pain Doc, to try and find a way to cut back on my extremely large doses of Fentanyl & Oxycontin. It has been a miracle for me, but I'd never even consider taking more than prescribed. That is Sheer Stupidity. Most Doctors won't even prescribe Soma anymore, because of *****s who abuse it. Thanks for trying to ruin it for those of us that it Really Helps... I can't go back to feeling "spaced out" on opioids all the time. Get your S*** TOGETHER!

1 pill is usually 350mg, so 5.4mg isn't very much at all. I can't imagine that it was much of a contributing factor, unless she had some type of allergic reaction to it

of course your friend could overdose. But I would not worry as long as they aren't taking like 7 or 8 a day unless they are mixing it with much heavier drugs

FYI... My doctor told me this week that this will be my last soma prescription (have been taking it for years). He said that the FDA is going to ban soma scripts in the near future. Too many deaths and the manufacturer has many law suits against it. Not sure if it's true, but this is this 2nd doc that has told me something like this.
