this tablet was an Rx I received as 'allopurinol', but, gave me painful reaction!.....I'd like to know more about it too!

What type of painful reaction?

I'm not seeing anything like that listed in the side effects.

Have you tried speaking to your doctor or pharmacist?

The most common ones listed are rash and hypersensitivity syndrome.
