Small Blue Pill Over The Counter
UpdatedI have been taking klonopin 1 mg for anxiety for about 3 months. It's definitely been helping. I take it in the evening because it also helps me sleep. Problem is someone in my home has been stealing them. My daughter and her husband and 2 and a half year old daughter live with us. Daughters husband is an ex opiate addict and I think it's him. He vehemently denies it and my daughter gets very angry when I bring up the subject. I have to hide them but wanted to see if I could get an over the counter blue pill that exactly resembles it, leave in the same place and pill container, and count carefully each day to see if they are being taken. My daughter is pregnant and it is definitely not her. It's driving me nuts not knowing why they are disappearing! The doctor prescribes 2 per day so i get 60 tabs when i get prescription but I only need one. So it should last 2 months. After one month, I am so shocked that there were only about 5 left!! It's costing me extra money because I have to go to the doctor for a prescription for more than I should have to have. We do not have medical insurance either. Can you please advise?

I posted a message about a week ago about klonopin which i take for anxiety. 1 mg per day at night. Its been a huge help through a rocky time in my life. I am pretty much convinced that my daughter's husband has been taking - stealing the klonopin I was prescribed about 4 months ago. I have hidden them and since then no missing tabs! Choose not to confront him or anything..the truth will come out sooner or later. He was an opiate addict for many years. Question: klonopin is not an opiate derivative right? Why would he want to take them anyway? I want to begin to slowly taper down the klonopin and am researching some natural alternatives.
No, Klonopin is not an opiate, or opiate derivative, but it is a Benzodiazepine, which the FDA warns also carries the risk of being habit forming, and it quite commonly abused, too. They tend to cause a sedative like effect, which can be relaxing, and similar to the "high" people get from opiates.
The other typical side effects of Klonopin are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and irritability.

Is there anything I can help with?
