Sinupret Forte Dragees

While traveling recently in Europe I contracted cold symptoms. In Basel, Switzerland I went to a pharmacy and they prescribed Sinupret forte Dragees. Almost immediately after taking the first few tablets I felt much better. After a few days I was back to being myself. The only thing I can attribute my quick recovery was to the Sinupret product. I am contemplating keeping it in our travel kit for our next travel adventure. Please, does anyone know if this medication is available by prescription-only or if you can find it over-the-counter?

Hello, Rick! How are you?

Sinupret Forte is actually an over the counter herbal remedy, which the FDA classifies as a supplement. Unfortunately, I've not been able to find a listing of the precise ingredients that are in it.

Does anyone else know more?

It isn't available in the U.S., but many herbal sinus products are and you could likely find a good one at a local vitamin shop, if your doctor approves of your trying it.
