my father-in-law experienced severe aches and pains plus swelling in both his legs near the ankle with the pain feeling like spreading to his bones..he also experienced symptoms of acidity..he has stopped taking the drug now.

Etova contains the active ingredient Etodolac, it is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory.

While not particularly common, what he experienced does happen to some people that use this medication.

Has he spoken to his doctor about this?
