my mother is 79 years old and she had a brain stroke two years ago. After 2 years, she had headache and therefore doctor prescribed her ecospirin for blood thinning alongwith other B.P. and diabetic medicines. Her hemoglobin level has been reduced to 4.6 once and after ten days again reduced to 5.4. Doctor has carried out all related tests like CT, Echo, Endoscopy and other tests of Gastrology. But nothing has came out, all reports were normal. Doctor has advised to stop the ecospirin tablet. Is this will be the reason of reducing hemoglobin. Please advise.
