How effective and safe is schweiz health kurzyme

My father is interested in KurZyme. He is 83yrs old and has high blood pressure, and had a heart attack in Janurary of this year. He doesn't like precription drugs and wants another alternative. Please let me know if this product is any good. Thank you Angela Hurst

Well, since it is a supplement, rather than a drug, it is not proven to do as it claims and the possible side effects are unknown.

I understand your father's point of view, however, he really should follow his doctor's advice for the best treatment possible.

That is the way it works with most of these supplements, they make many claims regarding what they do, but this is unproven.

Has he spoken to his doctor about his treatment options?

I dont agree with the reply by Verwon. There are many treatments out there and therefore doctors will differ on their avenues of treatment.
My husband had a stroke in 2002, 80% blockage in the artery in the neck. When the MDs said they wanted to take out that section and came unglued when we wanted to talk alternative ways, thats when we decited to search elsewhere. Never been happier that I did. Went totally alternative (and we found a MD who is into alternative and works to keep you off drugs) We are off all drugs, not even an aspirin.
Keep searching they are out there.

we are looking into your products, the activezyme and kurzyme. We are not sure which one will work for us, read up on both. We are both in are 40, have some allergies, dry skin, somethings give us heartburn, memory loss sometimes and little energy. Also how many pills for each taking daily and the bottle is it a months supply for each person. Thank you

i am on quite a few meds for blocked carotid artery and high blood pressure,ws interested in kurzyme therapy , that is until i see it has gingo biloba in it, i am a lover of gingo, but not sure if i can take it now as i am on aspirin to thin the blood, so dont think i can now take another blood thinner, whilt i am on aspirin

I have an inflamed shoulder joint and tried KurZyme believing it would help. It did not. I ordered a 3-mos. supply (+ 3 added for free) guaranteed a 30day refund on a free-trial basis. I was given a return authorization code #, returned 3 bottles in Dec.09. I am still being refused the $140.00 refund. WHY?

I would be careful of these offers that want you to get a 3 month supply at once, or you pay for a trial offer, then they send it to you automatically every month. I was taken by one of these offers, because I didn;t have an authorization to send it back( ahead of time). Be very careful of these offers.

First, I would like to state that I did not say alternative therapies never work, Bj, I simply said that they are not proven to do so. That means that when someone tries them, they have to proceed with caution. In case something doesn't do what is claimed, you should still be working with a physician and under their supervision for your own health and safety.

As to the other questions about Kurzyme refunds and etc. this site does not make this product, this site does not manufacture nor sell ANYTHING. this is an information only website, so I cannot help you or answer any of these questions.

For anyone that wishes to know, here is a list of the ingredients of this product:

Protease, Bromelain, Papain, Gingko Biloba, Asian Ginseng, Green Tea Extract, Kelp, Irish Moss and Lipoic Acid.

Sally, I would have to agree with you on that, it is not a good idea to risk combinging them, unless your doctor has said it is okay to do so.

I tried Kurzyme and did not see or feel any benefits at all.

The company behind Kurzyme are a nightmare to deal with.

I am of the opinion that the while thing is a scam and best left well alone. A good multi-vitamin would be more beneficial.

Angie this supplement may be ok, but don't trust Schweiz Hlth. Dr. Mindell's vitamin company is scamming people and probably elders. They charged my checking account for a supplement that I ordered in June, in September of 2012. And they were not authorized and now they are giving me the run around after my checking account is in a mess because of them. I have filed a forgery report with my bank against them and posted a blog on a scam website. Don't deal with these people, they have no ethics or morals.

I recieved a pamphlet with order form today on Kurzyme and noted the ingredients. All of them can be bought from any RELIABLE herbalist or health shop. which is far safer as all ingredients are guaranteed pure. I am allergic to drugs and have to control several illnesses, eg. Blood pressure and Athritis by herbal methods and have proved to my Doctor that they indeed do work. My doctor is satisfied with me taking them and I have done so for over 20 years. Dr. Mindell and his company are NOT SAFE and do not even answer to the EU authorities to prove his stuff is safe. So stay safe and always check with a verified herbalist first.
