Rutherford County Panic Disorder
(Newest replies first)
Updated
I'm unable to find anyone who will prescribe me Klonopin. I have a severe panic disorder, anxiety, PTSD, depression, and am now showing schizophrenic tendencies. I've been hospitalized 2 times in the past 3 months. These panic attacks have consumed me as a person, they will drop me to my knees in seconds and they are so painful causing me to sieze up and scream histerically with zero control. I've humiliated myself, I can't leave my house at this point. My heart goes so fast my blood pressure is now high and I'm 23. I AM NOT A CRIMINAL I AM NOT A DRUG ADDICT and I don't know what to do. I lost my job. I'm losing my sanity. Please someone help me.

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond to me and for such kind words. You are very right. My fiance has been my rock. I'm visiting conselers and mental health emotional support teams a few times a week. But have yet to have found one who can bring me comfort. I have been treated horribly by medical staff in this county. Unfortunately in this area compassion is rare. Even beyond getting medication, I've been made to feel crazy, weak, hopeless and terrified. I feel as if everyone thinks of me as a bad person for something I can't control. Once again thank you for taking the time to show me I'm not alone.
Hello Destini,
I'm sorry to hear about your situation and honestly I wish the answer was as simple as pointing you in the direction of a doctor who would be willing to provide you with a specific medication but it isn't that easy. As an individual who suffers from some of the same disorders I can tell you that this is a uphill battle and the only way to get closer to getting better is to get moving forward.
Speaking from my personal experience I can tell you that first and foremost I strongly advise you to find a support system that you trust and feel comfortable with. My support has always been my wife and brother. The people you choose are there to help you and more importantly assist you and hold you accountable through the process when things feel like they are overwhelming and impossible to overcome.
Next I would like to say seek professional help first and then worry about the medication after. I honestly believe that you are simply seeking to regain control over your life and have that sanity that others take for granted but you have to understand for every person out there like us who need the medication there is likely another person who is falsely claiming the same case in order to gain access to an abusable drug. From what I have been told it is near impossible to accurately prove anxiety disorders and most doctors refrain from prescribing addicting medications because unlike physical issues a mental disorder is likely a life sentence and will require attention for the duration of your life. It is sincerely in your best interest to manage these issues without medication for as long as possible as the medications do have lasting and sever consequences, but I do understand that at a point there is no alternative.
Lastly I want you to know that there are an immense amount of support groups out there and programs that will aid you in learning to cope with your problems. At the end of the day the goal is to live our lives as normally as possible and I want nothing more for you than this. I hope that you find what you are looking for. Have a pleasant day and best of luck.
