Roxicodone (or Any Pain Releiving Opiate).. Vs. Suboxin
UpdatedFor those of you wanting to get off percocets or oxycodone I suggest you inquire about soboxin. I asked my pharmacist and he was adiment about it's ability and highly recommended that I talk to my pain management doctor. I have spinal (everything and after 4 surgeries I am just so tired of the pain as well as I'm tiredn of taking percocets or oxycodones. Ask your pharmacist about suboxin. They truely work and some say not for the pain, but I know 1st hand they will work for pain as well as keep the withdrawals away as you wean yourself away from the opiates. p.s. they have non tablet form which dissolves under your tongue.. --- No withdrawals from the oxy crap.

Hi dennis,
Thank you so much for providing this information. I'll provide some additional information in regards to Suboxone below:
Suboxone contains the active ingredient (Buprenorphine); which is a semi-synthetic opioid that is used to treat opioid addiction in higher dosages, to control moderate acute pain in non-opioid-tolerant individuals in lower dosages, and to control moderate chronic pain in dosages ranging from 20"70µg/hour. It is available in a variety of formulations: Subutex, Suboxone (Buprenorphine HCl and naloxone HCl; typically used for opioid addiction), Temgesic (sublingual tablets for moderate to severe pain), Buprenex (solutions for injection often used for acute pain in primary-care settings), Norspan and Butrans (transdermal preparations used for chronic pain).
Side effects:
Common adverse drug reactions associated with the use of buprenorphine are similar to those of other opioids and include: nausea and vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, headache, memory loss, cognitive and neural inhibition, perspiration, itchiness, dry mouth, miosis, orthostatic hypotension, male ejaculatory difficulty, decreased libido, and urinary retention.
