Round White Pill 063 Lorazepam

I have been taking lorazepam with the #063, and a couple of mos. ago they said they don't have them or can't get them anymore. they tried to give me another pill saying it is the same, 2mg but it is not the same. I have a lot of anxiety for the pain I have all over my body. Arthritis. I am 77 and can you help me by letting me know where I can get this certain pill? I can't sleep at night because these other Lorazepam don't work for me...thank you..I use safeway pharmacy.

Hi margie,

Sorry to hear about your situation. I think a good way to go about this would probably be to ask your doctor to specify a particular manufacturer's version of Lorazepam (such as Actavis), directly on the prescription so pharmacists will know which brand to have in stock or order for you on any given day. I've heard numerous times that large chain pharmacies (such as Safeway, Walgreens, CVS, etc) only order from certain manufacturers primarily based on pricing and not according to which brands work best for their patients; so it may be that you just need to check with other pharmacies in your area to know for sure whether this particular 063 brand is still available.
