Actually, both of the doses you listed are over the counter strengths.
The original Tylenol was 325mgs, the Extra Strength is 500mgs and there is a time released arthritis formulation that contains 650mgs.

The 325mg dosage isn't purchased as often, anymore, so it's seen less frequently in most stores, but it is still available.
Doses over 4,000mgs in a day can be fatally toxic, so anyone taking it should be very careful not to exceed the recommended dosing guidelines.
