UpdatedCan I drink coffee before reclast infusion?

Hello, Carol! How are you?
It's most likely not a good idea. There are warnings for Reclast that state that the patient must be appropriately hydrated, before the infusion is given and caffeine is a diuretic that removes fluid from the body.
Unless your doctor okays it, it would be best to avoid anything caffeinated.
Side effects to Reclast may include administration sight reactions, headaches, anorexia and diarrhea.
Is there anything else I can help with?
