Quick Questions About Roxicodone

Is Roxicodone the same thing as Roxicoton? Also, is Roxicoton a pain reliever or a muscle relaxer? Lastly, is Roxicoton a time-released pill? Please help! Thank you.

I haven't heard about Roxicoton, but I am not sure if it is mistaken for OxyContin ? Roxicodone is the same as OxyContin - both have the active ingredient Oxycodone.

This family of drugs is narcotic pain relievers. They work with the opioid receptors in the body to shut off pain, and can be highly addictive. Oxycodone comes in various forms, both normal and time-released.

I heard that the prefix roxi- means quick realeased and the suffix -contin means extended-release so therefore there is no such thing as roxicotin. I think that oxycontin is more addictive and stronger than roxicodone but roxi's are also very addictive. I think but dont quote me on this but i think the ingredients in both the oxys and roxis are the same if ot very similar

I wanted to answer this for you yesterday, but my internet connection went down.

So here we go:

Roxicontin is just a misunderstanding of the names, whomever uses it, has actually combined two different brand names.

They are:

Roxicodone, which is a name brand of regular release Oxycodone. (No, not instant!)

and

Oxycontin, which is the name brand for the time released Oxycodone.

I hope this clears this issue up for all of you.

Oh and yes, you are correct on that, the active ingredient is the same, they are both Oxycodone, just different formulations.

Bull. Roxicodone, & Oxicodone if made by the right manufacturer as as instant release as it gets. It's actually stronger than Diladuid. Take it from one who knows. There is no succh thing as Roxicotin.I'll bet a million dollars against a day old donutt.Cheap low strength oxcidone made by cheap manufacturers aren't worth the company that makes them. Swallow them all with a glassof water and you may as well wait to win the lottery.

Is roxicodone still available in 30mgs. as oxycodone? Because I take 80mg. of oxycodone and they , the Pharm. switches it to the brand name oxycotin and charges the ins. $$$$$, I was paying only 4.00 , noe since they ran out of generic oxy, and I'am paying 75.00 for almost the same thing. Personally , I know that oxycodone is better in pain mangt. and affordable than the oxycotin, its Pharm. Big Bulls***! Does anybody take opana, 40mgs. are they as good as oxycodone and is it available in a generic and is roxicodone available in a generic still?

Is roxicodone still available in 40mg. as a generic? Is opana oxycodone?I've been on oxycodone and , the pharmacys switch my prescription to oxycotin 80 mg. and the cost went from 4.00 to 75.00, I' trying to put a regiment together for 2009, because I think their going to remove this drug, oxycotin. All that I want is the oxycodne in a generic so I can have some money left for the month , I 'am on a Budget! Anybody have some advice for a vet? Is oxycodone available in a40mg. dose or higher, not oxycotin, Because oxycotin doesn't help me compared to oxycodone, I've benn on this for several years, I know the difference, the oxycotin makes me very nausea!
