The FDA classifies this medication as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, so while it may help alleviate pain, it will do nothing to help, if you have an ear infection.
Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach irritation and increased risk of bleeding.
And it most likely no longer retains much efficacy.
