Psychiatrists In Dallas Who Prescribe Klonopin Or Xanax

I just moved to Dallas, im looking for a good psychiatrist who isnt aftaid of perscribing REAL anxiety medicine. even if you know of a doctor not in Dallas just one even all the way to McKinney I'm willing to go to.

Call. Dr. Louis Coates 972-496-MYDR. He is in garland just outside sachse at firewheel family practice. He is a GP , but treats psych. No insurance gets discounted to $60ish a visit. One med check every 3 mths

Okay so you know for sure that he wont be scared to prescribe xanax or klonopin? and he doesn't take insurance?

Yes. I just moved to LA. He prescribed me xanax and adderral. He sees everyone i know w psych issues. Nicest guy. His office has murals on the walls with nature scenes and jungles in 3D. Look on youtube for dr louis coates from firewheel family practice. They were saying he may get a reality show. No lie. Gives a great discount when no ins to 60$ a visit. As matter of fact i am gonna see if he will mail me my paper script. Dr's in LA suck. Californi- f***ed

so whenever I go and I meet up with him I can just tell him I have PTSD and straight up tell him I need xanax and I have ADHD and that I need adderall and he'll just prescribe it to me the first visit? cuz I've been dealing with all at these doctors that aren't wanting to prescribe s***, and then give you a guilt trip on you need to try other methods than taking medicine. please tell me he's not going to try to give me a guilt trip if I strait up tell him what I need

1mg blue xanax. Will probably insist u get an antidepressant, too. He will alternate between kpin and xanax if u wish. But, prescribe one benzo at a time. If u r itty bitty maybe half mg peach ones. Meds are given mg per kg. Unless, u insist on specifications

Now, i take adderral. Cant go without. 60mg /day x 35 yrs. So, i wanted xanax on hand to take in case. Coates at first said perhaps we should decrease the adds and i said xanax needed for cramps once a month. So, i got 30 .25 mg xanax prescribed, too. I didnt push for higher dosage bec i need the ups. But, my friends go and get antidepressants w benzos. He thinks they compliment each other. Anyway, he might start u on .5 peach and increase u to 1 mg blues if u say it wasnt enough. Or, if u say u usually take 1 mg u will get that. But, if u need bars, go to mexico. Walk across the border and go to pharmacy. Dr. Upstairs. U can get 3 boxes legally. If that wont do, u got problems. Then, seek the methadone clinic dwtn or in plano.

will he give you 3, 1 milligrams a day or 2 milligrams twice a day of xanax? if I told him I need that. will you also give me a adderall on top of that. also can I just be straight up to him and tell him that that's what I need or is he the type of doctor that you have to beat around the bush

I tried to make an appointment for my anxiety and depression. I was informed by the receptionist the dr will not prescribe any narcotic or controlled medications without my previous medical records. My boyfriend previously saw the dr and was prescribed medications without his medical records over a year ago and when I asked why he was able to get medications I was told he was seen before the policy was in place.

I tried to make an apt with Dr. Coates and was informed I had to provide my previous medical records before he would prescribe any medication for my anxiety or depression. Just a heads up - if you cannot provide your records he will not prescribe medications

Just to give everyone a heads up about Dr Coates, he is a primary care doctor not a psychiatrist. He will not prescribe any medications for anxiety or depression without previous medical records. I tried to make an appointment for anxiety and depression medications but was informed he would not be able to prescribe any medications without my records.

I have extreme anxiety. PTSD. I was getting Xanax from my PCP for years but with all this mess with the drug crisis he keeps cutting me back.

Hello, I was wanting to let u know of some of my symptoms. First of all i feel really tired. Too tired to function on a daily basis and also i feel as though i cant breath and I also start to shake and sweat, and every day i feel that my situation is only gonna get worse and not let me function on my daily routines.

I suffer from severe anxiety as well. I go to Psychiatric Medical Associates in Plano and the nurse practitioner I see prescribes me klonopin. I know he won't prescribe xanax, however. I hope you find some relief. Btw, my doctor's name is Brent.
