I take metformin to control my blood sugar .I took one by accident , both pills are in the same size bottle and are about the same size pill. I grab the wrong bottle late at nite, so dont start casting stones. S*** happens

I just received via mail from express scripts that propoxyphene and any drug containing it has been taken off the market due to cardiac toxicity.

If it's old, it just means that it may not be as strong as it was when first prescribed. This type of medicine generally has a 12 month life a doctor will recommend to use it during. I've taken many old Rx's and it's fine. Just make sure that you do not take more than Rx'd because the strength does not decrease significantly enough to take an extra dose to compensate. If you did that, it wouldn't be good for your body.

NOOOOOOO! you should not take any Opiate/opiode if pregnant , so i would have to tell you to wait until you test for the pregnancy.

I am allergic to codeine, oxycodone, hydrocodone, morphocodone. Given my history I'm nervous about propoxyphene-n. Is there a good chance I'll be allergic to it, too?

My severe neck pain has returned so I want to take the ic propoxy-n/apap that I was prescribed. I suspect I may be pregnant but can't test until next week. Is a small amount of this med ok if pregnant?

This medicine relieves mild to moderate pain. Since it is a narcotic, I would say that you should not take it when pregnant. This particular medication is also excreted through breast milk. Think about this..if you can drug your baby through breast milk while taking this, then why would it be okay to take when you are forming your baby's body?

I too had my prescription request at Express Scrips for Propoxyphene-N W/Apap 100-650MG denied, this is a new prescription, why wouldn't my Dr. have been notified earlier if this had been recalled?

I have been using this medication for quite awhile. Had a bad back pain. These pills were a life saver. Have been using them, 1 or 2 per day, or when needed. Not much pain since. If it is taken off the market what will replace it.

I took 1 pill of propoxyphene by accident and tested positive on a drug test . I was told the level was 1987 the threshold is 300. Does anyone know if this iteracts with other medications? Please Help.

could i have kidnee infection with this medicine i take 1 table each other day never feel any problems till now that i having this pain on my back side by the kidnee for 4 days allready:(

I fail to see how you can take any medication by accident. Oops, thought I was taking a Bayer aspirin. Seems quite silly to me!!

Looking through my parents medicine when cleaning out their house I found an old vitamin bottle with pills in it that said mylan 1155. On the bottle my mother had written propoxyphene pain pills. Just wondering whether it's that or vitamins? No search results showed anything, so just wondering.

APAP is just medical speak for Acetaminophen and Propoxyphene is a very mild, narcotic pain reliever.

If this made your pain worse, then clearly it isn't the proper medication for you, please speak to your doctor.

Some of the most common side effects include: nausea, dry mouth, constipation and drowsiness.

I was prescribed this after giving birth to my son and was breastfeeding. I am assuming it'd be safe if my doctor felt it was. I just tried not to take it much.

My wife, who has Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma for the past 7 years was prescribed this crapola for extreme ankle pain and swelling by Dr. F. Willison of St. Johns Hospital in Tulsa. for months with approval of her Oncologist Dr. Trotman. Absolutely useless, as was her diagnosis. Just another circle the wagons by the quack referral profession to protect the system. 9 months, 9 quacks, no resolution but to bleed Medicare.
