white oblong pill with 93-490 on it. was supposed to be a sub for darvocet n 100.....made my wife throw up all day and night taking for a broken ankle

I have a torn Achilles tendon and it works great for the pain, especially good when I take it with a couple of Bud Lights!

Also perscribed for pain of a broken ankle. Made me very dizzy and violently throw up. After that one dose I threw the rest out and did very well on ibuprofin!!!!

it isnt effecting me. i took 1 dose of this after my wisdom teeth extraction, and it didnt effect me. no change in the pain in my mouth.

Yeah i also took it for wisdom teeth and it didn't seem to help very much of the pain. I'm sure I could've taken a couple advil and had the same effect. The only noticeable side effect for me was dry mouth

took this medication for a large herniated disc. after taking this medication for 3 days as prescribed i have noticed no difference in the amount of pain i have.

I took five of those pills last night and though I didn't throw up I was still hovering over the toilet with that pukey feeling. I couldn't taste anything and I couldn't feel my throat and even though the high it gives you is actually really nice I'm never going to take it again, it's just not worth it):

I am really snsitive to pain relievers, get violently ill from codeine, vicodin, demoral and get so ill that there is no pain relief. DARVOCET (Propoxyphene-Apap 100- 650 mg. is a Godsend for me.

I would have thought your doctor would have given you an anti-inflammatory (NSAID) plus the pain medication. But what do I know??

support for Darvocet; nice to hear. I have a sister who suffers from chronic back pain and doesn't care to be stoned. She just wants to function and carry on with her life. Most of the legit people who take Darvocet and in fact, all the other stronger narcotics, just want to be pain free and live a normal life. When they don't, they suffer and their whole family suffers.

I have been prescribed Propoxyphen for a Herniated disc(back surgery) as well..It did not make me sick but it seems like it just makes me tired but the pain stays the same..What do I do now..

I was given this medicine for the pain of a dry socket, I looked it up because I thought it was a sugar pill. Ibuprofen did better.

I dislocated my shoulder, and have torn muscles and ligaments from the injury. They game me this medicine for the pain. I was told to take it every 6 hours. It is working, but if I don’t take it consistently, even if it’s after 8 or 9 hours instead of 6, I start feeling even worse pain. It also seems to be helping with some of the referral pain and inflammation I was having in my neck and upper back, but once again if taken late, those feel even more inflamed than before. I also have some drowsiness and nausea. I have not thrown up yet, but I have a feeling I will soon, possibly today since the nausea is getting so bad.

I have the same affect, But if u take Trimethobenzamide 300mg u won't get sick, because this Medication is for nausa and vomiting. A FRIEND

Received a bottle of these after the removal of a cyst on the top of my wrist. Takes a while for it to take effect, so take it at the first sign of pain. I can confirm the side effect of dry mouth, but so far I have not had any nausea. I am a little drowsy, but it has been a stressful day.

I was perscribed this for pain after my ceaseran, and it works WONDERS...I didnt have any nausea or vomitting, though it does make me drowsy..I like this better than vicodin, I was horribly ill on that stuff.

gave pills for sinus congestion, took 5 days hands broke out had reaction from drug join pain from neck to feet, landed me in hospital with severe paid of all joints, liked to have killed me. could not get up are down out of chair and could not move neck without sever pain. Dr's told me to never take that drug again.

I read all the post before I tookPropoxyphen 100-650. I was perscribed this for a sore throat. I figure with all the post saying it caused them to vomit and didn't realy work for pain very well or at all really, I figured it was all true. But I wanted to see If I would react the same way. So I took one at 1pm and its nearly 11pm and Im still so sick that swallowing my own saliva makes me vomit my brains out. The worst part is I was looking to find some relief from my sore throat now its twice as worse. And now I have to wait for this nausea to pass before I can take on over the counter for my pain, otherwise it will just come back up. My advise is if your taking this medication for the first time, take it at home when you have the time. It would suck to be this sick and have to go to work, ect.

My Doctor prescribed this for me (3/17/10), I took my first one $7.00 later last evening, and it will be my last. I have horrible back pains from disc problems in my back and can't sleep at night as a result of it, but I have taken over the counter PM Tylenol and had better results which I will go back to now, those pills really suck! I was already suffering with headaches prior to taking this medication and I got up with yet another one. I was driving to work this morning and felt like I zoned out, how scarry is that?! DONE, DONE, DONE!

Got a script for this with a shattered nose. It's not like vicodin, more of a numbing relief than anything else. I don't get any nausea/vomiting, just a little dizzy and drowsiness.

Med prescribed for painful sinus infection. Took 7 pills over 2 days. Vomiting started day 2. Even sips of water couldn't be kept down. Now this is 3rd day - not taking med - vomiting subsided. Don't want that again.
