Common side effects of Pravastatin include: Headache and heartburn.

More serious less common side effects include: Severe allergic reactions; a change in the amount of urine produced; dark urine; chest pain; fever, chills, or persistent sore throat; flu-like symptoms; muscle pain, tenderness, or weakness; red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin; severe stomach pain; pale stools; vision changes; yellowing of the skin or eyes.
