Prednisone 20mg Take 1 Tablet By Mouth Twice A Day

Ok so I pulled a shoulder muscle that gives me muscle spasms stiffing my neck and shoulders. My doctor prescribed me prednisone 20mg for 7 days and Voltaren gel. The prednisone 20mg bottle says "take one tablet by mouth twice a day" , so how do I take it like how many hours apart , will I get side effects and withdrawal when I'm done , also can I take it with ibeprofin or cyclobenzaprine music relaxers. I am 29 year old male 5'6 weight 170 if that helps thank you

That would be approximately 12 hours apart, though it doesn't have to be precise, breakfast and dinner should be fine. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this steroid as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, nervousness, acne and insomnia. Most likely no withdrawal, after just 7 days.

Yes, you can take it with Cyclobenzaprine, as long as your doctor approves, but you should double check with them, before adding the Ibuprofen, since the Voltaren is also a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory.
