Prednisolone 5mg P

Hi I have just got back from the hospital and the Dr had given me 28X prednisolone.
On the sticker she's wrote : Take 6 tablets once a day for 3 days. Does this mean take 6 tablets all at once or spread it through the day? It just seems a little wild taking 6 in 1 go... why not just put me on a higher dose...?

Unless the instructions say otherwise, you can do either, or; you can split them up, or take them all at once.

This medication can cause nausea, anxiety, insomnia and nervousness as side effects, so some people do prefer to take them all at once, in the morning, so they aren't dealing with such issues at bedtime.

It could simply be that the dosage you needed is hard to find.
