I would like to get as much information about the side effects of predizone possible. My sister had a rare phmonia and was on predizone for a couple years at, I think about 75mgs a day. She has completely changed personality wise. Very angry and mean spoken, just a complete 360 from her old self. She has been off of the drug for almost 18 months, but her attitude has not changed. Is there any drug she can take to counter act the damage left behind by predizone? Please respond

My 40 year old daughter was diagnoised with polimyositis a year and a half ago. She has been on predizone since January. At one point she was taking 30mg per day. Eventually the doctors reduced the dosage and she was down to 13 mg per day. Unfortunately, she had an upserge of the disease and the dosage was increased to 25mg. What I'm really concerned about is the side effect. Her personality has changed so drastically. She angers easily, the mood swings change from moment and she is very defensive and parinoid. She has stopped speaking to me and barely interacts with other family members. Since I have been unable to communicate with her I'm in a delimma about what type intervention she needs. I'm doubly concerned because she has a six year old daughter and I want to ensure that the child is okay and not in any present danger.

My Grandfather is on predizone for phemonia but it triggers his elztimers more and makes him shake and I was wondering if there was another drug that we could substitute it with because it is not good for the rest of his body

I was prescribed Prednisone for asthmatic bronchitis and I am on my 6th of 9 days taking it. I think this drug definitely changed my personality to be a bit more aggressive and I can hardly sleep on it. I am very much looking forward to being off this medication. I will refuse if I am prescribed this again.

I was admitted at an institute of psychaiatry all of sudden for alcholic abuse after getting fitness certificate after 43 days they have recommended to give me 350 mg . twice daily of DIZONE BRAND NAME , after having this tablet i feel very uneasy. In the hospital I never felt uneasy with whatever tablets they were were giving me. should I continue with this or stop.
