Please Help Asap

I've been on subs for 17 months.started on 16 mg and I'm down to 6. I have a problem at the clinic where I'm getting them prescribed. I have never failed a drug teat. However, they want me to go to their counselor every week and see the doctor every other week. This is a problem with my work schedule. It is hard enough getting out of work early every other week, let alone every week. So I made an appointment with the new doctor and have it today. Should u be honest and tell him I just came from another program? I would like to up my dose a little. I have been buying ALOT of extra(8mgs) and taking them on the side. I don't know why. My mind leads me to believe that I'm feeling better. MAIN PROBLEM--- I don't want to go to the new doc and him write.me a script and then the pharmacy will see that it's a new doctor bc of my insurance and I don't want to ruin my chances of the insurance not paying for any of my scripts at all. It is time for a new prescription with the old doc, but I didn't plan on going back bc of the counseling ...any1 please help me ASAP!!!!

YOu have to inform the new doctor, if you don't there may be some serious issues, such as someone reporting you as doctor shopping, plus the possible problems with your insurance that you mentioned.

However, even your new doctor is going to require regular drug testing, counseling and doctor's visits, that's something that is mandated by law and they can't change it. They have to make their patients meet those requirements in order to keep their waiver to treat with Suboxone.

Some places weren't requiring their patients to do it and have now been getting in trouble, because the laws are being enforced.

I'm sorry, I wish I had something else to tell you that would help, but unfortunately, I don't.

Have you tried to talk to them about the counseling schedule?
