This tablet is manufactured by InvaGen Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 40mgs of Citalopram, which is an SSRI antidepressant.
The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and weight changes.
It can also help some people with anxiety.
I doubt, however, that it will help much with Xanax withdrawals and, when stopping it, you have to be careful not to stop cold turkey, if you've been taking it for a long time, because that can create the risk of seizures.
