Pill Expiration Prednisone In Hot Humid Weather

I have copd and take maintenance dose of ten. When I get serious attack I take s tapered dose of 20mg. I live on a boat in guatemala during the winter months. Its both hot and humid.

They are a year old and don't seem to be working. I'm half way through this batch. I.have a new batch now. Should I start the new batch now?

My mother-in-law has to take it, once in awhile, for her severe asthma, and I always told her not to even keep it in our bathroom, so she now keeps all her medications in a cabinet in her bedroom.
