Phentermine For More Than 1year

I have been taking phentermine for more than a year.. to the point where in one day I would lose 3-6 pounds, and gain it all back in one meal (sometimes).. Now my symptoms are bad..very bad.. I get bigger/fatter and sometimes swollen by the time the medication Phentermine wears off.. and this only occurs on face, upper arms, back, neck and one leg.. mostly it happens on my left side of my body and face.. I don't know if its water retention, it could be.. what can I do to prevent this? I have lost about 40pounds on phentermine... but I have been retaining so much liquid to the point where I look like I have gained so much weight when actually if I weigh myself I weigh the same and haven't gained any weight.. When I take phentermine that same moment my skin gets tighter, after the medication wears off my skin gets loose..and if I stop taking phentermine I start blowing up like a balloon to the point where I cry so much because I feel that with this my self-esteem is very low... I need help :( I want to add that I do drink a lot of water I watch what I eat.. I know what to do to prevent liquid retention.. nothing works, maybe it's something worse... uggggh idk...i don't have insurance so going to the doctors is really not what I'm looking for... oh and my gums are also swollen!!! Please somebody help mee!! And let me know what can I do, to lose this water weight or what ever it is

Hi, Careena! I'm sorry about the problems that you're having.

I understand not having insurance, I've been there, but you really do need to see a doctor as soon as possible. That type of fluid retention can be very dangerous. That's the type of thing that can cause congestive heart failure and it happening that rapidly can be very dangerous.
