Percoset Behavior Vs Suboxone Behavior
UpdatedMy significant other is a roofer.. He was taking percoset 10 (3 to 4 a day) for I'd say 6 to 8 months.. I had no idea the whole time he was taking them until we had an incident where I had to be told... He told me numerous times after I had found out he wasn't taking tthe aanymore. . Well I knew he was..very energetic at times.. happiness. . Nodding off when he would lay on the couch before we would go to bed..small pupils.. which he works in the blazing heat everyday I understand where he is extremely tired... but he recently got prescribed suboxone 8-2 mg the pill form...He has been taking the subs for a little over a week.. since the subs I've noticed him a mall lot calmer on days but some days I see the same energetic, talkative , small pupils, happiness... I'm clueless to pain pills or any drugs to be honest... can the suboxone make him act the same as he acted while taking the percs?

Hello, Franky! How are you and your husband?
Yes, it can cause those same types of side effects.
Suboxone contains a narcotic called Buprenorphine, which can cause most of the same side effects as other narcotics. In these tablets it is coupled with Naloxone, which neutralizes other opiates to prevent their abuse while someone is under treatment with it, so he'd not be able to get any effect from taking anything else, anyway.
The FDA classifies Suboxone as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
Is there anything else I can help with?
I could go on for days but for short yes they're both opiates one has a drug in it to stop opiate receptors I understand it's backwards long enough on it does but to answer your question will percocet do the same absolutely they're both opiato driven if you like a further answer reply thank you don't be fooled they're both opiates
