Percocet Blue Pill Alv 196 (Page 2)
UpdatedDoes it have less Tylenol than other brands and are they just as strong as other brands?
I would like to know is the ALV 196 blue pill is a percocet.
what an ignorant statement!!I have had 9 surgeries on my spine (3 titanium fusions)due to a semi drivers negligence and have been shot once.Because I am young sone pharmacies will look at me and my tattoos and say they dont have my medicine,I'm discriminated against all the time.
I have bad back pain from surgery and need another spinal fusion. Can't walk or stand for more than a few minutes. I go to pain management, get shots in my back, am given a low dose of pain pills, take them only when really needed at night. It relieves the pain and makes me sleepy, so I just fall asleep on the couch comfortably. I don't get why people would want to take more as they do make you tired. My prescriptions last me a long time because I don't pop them all the time, and Dr. Knows it. In between, I take 2 Motrin.
I agree. My mother is in constant pain and cause of these dumba** people who can't take their medicine right, now my mother got cut down which isn't fair to the ones who have real pain and need the medicine.
En lo personal yo estaba usando la endocet 5/325 mg i me recetaron la percocet 5/325 mg blue alb 196 y siento que es mas fuerte y me alivia mas rapido el dolor este es mi punto de vista
Addiction is not a disease. It's a choice. I chose to be an addict for 13 years. Then I chose 12 years ago to stop. Disease? That's a crutch and a cop out.
Re: Loz (# 8)
If addiction is a disease it is in a class all by itself. Because people give it to themselves by abusing substances. The culture of making people feel sorry for themselves because they have a disease has produced a nation of addicts making excuses for their behavior. The disease myth made it harder for them to quit because it causes internal mind games. The culture of victimology has not been at all good for the U.S.
Re: Red (# 17)
You are 100% right. I am soooo sick and tired of these pharmacists telling me "it's in my head". Boloney is right. It took me 5 different cholesterol pills to finally find one that gave me no side affects. I don't listen to the pharmacists. I call the. Doctor and keep him giving me different pills until I am satisfied. The same with the blood pressure and oxycodone pills and antibiotics. If they don't agree with me, I WONT take them. Only I know what my body feels like .. They don't. I don't care what they all say or think. At my age, I know what's good for me and won't let ANYONE intimidate me.
Re: Loz (# 8)
So says an addict who chooses to be an addict. Y'all love to act like you have no choice but i choose everything i put in my body. I guess my cigarette habit wasn't my choice? I liked the first one and an alien entered my body and makes me light up several times a day. I could try to quit but the alien won't let me! Give me a f***ing break and accept responsibility for your decisions.
Re: Sue (# 19)
They do me that way if i ever take one, cant rest but can clean the whole house.lol
Re: Loz (# 8)
That's such a crock of s***...sorry...but every addict, myself included, has a choice!!! I am clean now for 4 years and I became addicted due to a back injury that made the dr prescribe them to me and I became physically reliant on them and went nuts when they stopped prescribing them. They never weaned me off of them. But addicts have the choice, it's mental, cus if they want help, they could get it, if they don't want help, they just abuse it again and again. But as far as it being the same as someone who has a disease?.....you're nuts!!!
I've been on pain management for a little bit now, and i've had the 512 oxycodone/acet 5/325mg and these alv 196s.
the 196's for some reason give me anxiety, and they don't seem to work as well as the 512s. Having been able to have my primary pharmacy fill my script this time, I've noticed an immediate difference.
Re: Loz (# 8)
Addiction is not a disease its a choice you made to abuse the drug. When people with real pain take the meds the right way we are trying to feel normal its not a choice for us but a way of living and adjusting. Addiction is a choice!
What Pharmacy has the Blue ALV 196 Percoset? I have a perscription but I don't know what pharmacy to go to.
Re: Cynthia (# 6)
Said the person who takes them. Ignorance is bliss. Must feel good way up there on your throne-bet it's lonely at the top.
I agree with everyone who spoke of others who abuse. I have been partially injured since 2005. I barely receive messages because of others misuse. I just pray and adjust to paijn.
Re: Red (# 17)
Absolutely not in your head. I am a lung cancer patient and I just received this Pill from rite aid they changed manufacturers, it does not work something is not right. I will now ask what manufacturer they are using before refill.
Re: Lee (# 26)
No, it isn't a cop out, and it isn't a choice. To pick up a drug is the choice, not the addiction. I am a counselor and the ignorance is sickening. I applaud all of you that have kicked addictions. Addiction is a personality disorder, that's why you have all kinds of addicts, including gambling, eating, etc. Personality disorders are classified as mental illnesses. When an addict becomes addicted to a drug, it goes a step further into a physical dependency. Different drugs affect different parts of your brain and body. To pick up a drug or take more than you need, is definitely a choice. To put down a drug is also a choice, but addiction is not a choice. Your individual chemical makeup also play a part. It goes even deeper than that. Go somewhere and get educated. Then praise God for blessing you and leave these people alone. This forum is to discuss the nature of this pill and not to hear opinions of butter *****s.
Re: Red (# 17)
I have taken this medication after the birth of each of my children but for the first time ever I have been put on the blue pill for my slipped disc and an injury. The Percocet has always helped with the pain but the only difference I see now is that the blue pill makes my whole body feel weird and the room will start spinning off and on. And also my pain gets much achier at the pinpoint of the pain which really sucks. But it still continues to help the surrounding pain of certain areas of my body that have been previously injured. Just hate the weird feeling.
Re: Cynthia (# 6)
