From what I'm finding, the answer is likely going to be different for each and every individual depending on a variety of differentiating factors, (such as tolerance, age, weight, metabolism, variations in binders/fillers from previous suboxone tablets, etc),... Tracy says "No" there not as effective, but the gentleman in this other discussion thread linked below says "Yes", they are:

So it seems the only true way to know for sure is to actually it for yourself and see how that stacks up with what you've been previously taking.

Not as strong. But as long as I'm staying straight I don't care what shape, color, etc. it is. I'm stuck on bups 2 years. Lifer? I guess.
