No, this medication will not do that. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that's use to reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach to treat or prevent conditions such as heartburn, GERD, ulcers and gastritis.

I believe this is the wrong medication. Have you checked with your doctor? You should do so and ask them to clarify.
