Hello, Rosa! How are you?
Yes, Ibuprofen can safely be taken by a nursing mother. When a nursing woman requires an NSAID, it is the preferred choice, because it is only secreted in breast milk in very small amounts and infants are usually given much higher doses for fever and teething pain.
Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach irritation.
Is there anything else I can help with?
