CAme here from florida got pain killers for my leg need to find a doctor here who isnt paranoid of a dea shutdown

Unfortunately, they all have to be paranoid about that. New regulations were put into effect this year and any doctor that doesn't abide by them risks losing his license to practice medicine.

Your best bet would be to establish a relationship in your new location, with a PCP, then have them refer you to a pain management specialist.

Matt, did you ever find one? I am in Beaumont, and I too need to find a doc not afraid of narcotics. Moved here from Austin, and have a hard time finding a good doctor of nearly any kind.
