Hello, Willy! How are you doing? Sorry about the pain that you're in, no one should be left to be miserable.
Depending on what happened with your prior doctor and why they dismissed you, you could run into some trouble finding a new doctor to treat you, because it will be noted in your medical records.
As to new doctors, I have found a listing of the top recommended pain management specialists in Wichita, so I'll list some contact information here for you…
Dr. David Sollo, he is the top rated one in the listing with over 25 years experience and a 4/4 star rating, 361-962-3030
Another with a 4/4 star rating is Dr. George Howell, listed as having 47 years of experience, 316-684-3955
And one more 4/4 star rating is Dr. Jared T. Scott, 316-268-5000
However, I don't know how many people have rated and recommended them, nor do I know what insurance they accept, if they treat with pain medications or etc.
One tip that I can give you is that when you call, don't ask them up front if they will prescribe anything, since they will see that as drug seeking behavior and won't even let you get in the door. You have to let your medical records speak for themselves. If you want to know what they treat with, just ask what treatment options they offer.
Does anyone else know of a good doctor in the area?
