Oxycodone Do Not Work. Doctor Has Prescript Percocet /hcl But Duane Reade Pharmacist Has Given Generic Without Talk To Insurance Coverd Items. Danger
Updatedmost of the time patient become sick because they are not getting right medication. brand name medication can't be same kind of benefit, what currently most pharmacy fill different kind of generic version of product for their business to make money by useing very low quality medicine. even they did not contact insurance company; what are those covered or not. it is shame to pharmachy or drug distribution company. i think all drug company must contact insurance company to make sure they can provide brand name covered or not. i know most of people taking madication for better lives but this kind of business making people getting sick more and more medication for their health. please do something by paper works, so less people will be sick. as well as use less medication. without less side effect, most generic make most sickness. so government lossing more money. and people will be less sick. oh yes finally i have brand name medication after i called insurance company. but dental pain did not go away yet. because of different kind of medicine used

That is not true, if you get a name brand, or generic, they do have to meet the same quality standards as approved by the U.S. FDA to be dispensed by your pharmacy.
Where the difference comes in is due to the fact that there can be slight fluctuations in the active ingredients and the inactive ingredients can also differ, which creates problems for some people that are sensitive to a medication.
And as to making changes to the system, I am sorry, but we have nothing to do with that. this is an information only website.
Under current U.S. law, if your insurance requires it first and your doctor has not written brand medically necessary on a prescription, your pharmacy can legally provide you with a generic. This is done to help keep costs down for everyone.

Are there any other questions or comments?
Dental pain is the only pain aside from a sinus infection that pains meds wont help.Even with brand, and trust me, brand is the only way to go here. As you heal, the meds will kick in. Hang in there!
I just received a reply by mail in regards to the complaint for the Actavis oxycodone 5 325..they have determined there is no assignable cause determined for the subject complaint. So my whole 45 minute complaint was based on "lack of effect". What about the side effects??????? I went into detail how my anxiety heightened , increase heartburn, irritability and so on. There is something wrong with those pills! Hopefully the Qualitest brand will work for my pain..and there is nothing like being treated like a drug addict to find medication that works! The pharmacist at cvs was so rude!!
bioavailability is the problem. Generic are a joke and dangerous.
If the doctor does not write DAW (dispense as written) on the script, the pharmacist can fill that script with any generic equivalent to your rx..... in this case, oxycodone/apap. As long as the dose and medication are the same they can do it and do not even have to discuss it with you or your insurance company first.
Verwon this I have been on the site on meds for awhile....lived in Co...just moved back to fl...and I would of though ppl might be a little too sensitive but the a333 watsons percocet 10\325 that I got last week put me in withdrawl on top of killing my stomach ...but I've never experienced anything like tho and I prefer Mallinckrodt but would b ok from anything like qualitest n Rhodes but I cannot use mylan mscontin, nor a333 percocet..thank god I pick up my long acting Ms contin tomorrow or I'd be without anything for 3 weeks the way it I in Fl..i be been following your posts on the sight . And I know you are very helpful to a lot of ppl!!
I have , in the past, taken some lortab 10 generics and felt the same way you described, as if there was no medicine in them at all. I think that maybe there are issues with expired medications being used in some pharmacies, with or without intent I don't know. Also, I have wondered if pharmacy employees, pharmacists or someone along that "controlled substances" chain of ownership wasn't actually replacing real pills with fake ones somehow. Or in the factories themselves, if someone has the ability to steal the raw drug before it is put into the pill making process. Addicts and greedy people will take advantage of a security laxness if at all possible I know. We , as humans, also can have illnesses and other issues that can cause our body to not be absorbing medicine correctly one week, then we could be o.k. the next week. We are such complicated machines. Anyway, these are 3 possible explanations that I thought of when going through this myself. It happened more than a couple times to me.
What in the HAIL are you babling about?? Do people actually even READ maybe THINK ABOUT what they are posting BEFORE they do it? Just curious....
House,
I think it's a combo of drug induced entitlement and one upsmanship either or it serves no real benefit to anyone on here. Totally pathetic no doubt!!!!!
You are correct. This happened to me. I have been on an opium derived pain medication for over ten years. The pharmacy where I get my prescription filled was purchased by a family from India. They filled my prescription with a new generic drug from India as far as I can tell. I knew nothing about this when I got my prescription filled. What I knew was that I was still in pain after taking my medication. I want on the net and discovered that I was taking a different medication than what I had been taking for ten years. They told me it was in my head. Baloney.
Re: Verwon (# 1)
You are wrong. Most of the ingredients in medicine comes from China. You have to make sure the manufacturer and ingredients come from the USA. Do the research.
I think that porn stars are great even if they like pain medications. I really like when the elephants in the next room start laughing and blowing stuff out of their trunks at each other. LOL. This is so hilarious. If you’ve never seen an elephant snot rocket then you have got to go to the zoo.!! Aliens can come in my room if they want but when they do they better be ready to see my butt crack. That’s right, I really hate when they come in and don’t look at my butt crack before abducting me.
Does this help anyone’s questions? It probably doesn’t because it is in sync with all of the other posts that have nothing to do with the main topic. Thanks and keep the aliens out of your butt cracks everyone!! Have a great day and hope that the Pain meds that I have prescribed for you help With with that chronic diarrhea and your doctors decision to take it up the butt from the DEA. Love you guys
Sincerely,
The Doodoo Eater
