Orange Capsule With I On One Side And 97 On The Other Side

I was getting a orange and white capsule made by TEVA and the capsule was orange on one side and white on the other and marked with TEVA and 7371. This is amlodipine-benazapril 5-10, like Lotrel 5-10. I went to have my prescription refilled and they gave me a completely orange capsule with the letter I (as in indigo) on one side and the number 97 on the other. What is this capsule and who makes it? I cannot find it anywhere on the internet.

Please read on “Health Science Institute eAlert” re: Vyvanze 30mg( S489 30mg, 40mg, 50mg.....) before taking it. In fact, according to them, Vyvanze 30mg is one of the deadliest drug.

Hi Verwon, Thanks for your input. I agree with what you are saying....I just have to find the time now to do all of this trial and error. And believe me, I have had a few before this one that I did not like for other reasons. So this is not my 1st BP medication. Other than that, I have no other issues with the Amlodipine Benazepril-5-10, except maybe a slight gain in weight (but that could just be from my lifestyle and not the medication). Thanks again.

Hello, Anthony! How are you?

As to your ED issue, you should speak to your physician about trying a different medication. Yes, all of the cardiac medications may cause it as a side effect, but they won't all cause you to suffer that side effect, if you get what I'm saying. Sometimes, you just have to try a couple, before you find the right one that works for you, without causing you such problems.

I found out. It is made by a company in India called Aurobindo. They recently received the approval to manufacture the Amlodipine Benazepril 5-10. It is an orange capsule that is slightly larger than the TEVA 7371 and it has and I and a 97 on it. So hopefully it is similar to the TEVA 7371 capsules. Maybe it will be better and give me my libido back as the TEVA 7371 killed them. So I may go off this stuff and try something else. I have read that a good number of blood pressure medicines have the same wonderful side effect.

Okay I figured it out so I am replying to my own post. The capsules I was given were made by the "new kid on the block" known as aurobindo pharmaceuticals, which is a company in India that not too long ago got FDA approval to manufacture the Amlodipine Benazepril 5-10 that I am taking, and other combinations as well. I am going to come off these if my "tool" does not come back to life. I am just blah down there since I went on this medicine. I was fine before this medicine, now not so great. Maybe this new formula will be better - okay probably not as it is basically the same stuff.
