Okc Pain Mngmnt Drs

Can anyone help me with the names of drs who are pain mngmnt. I've had a back surgery, titanium cage with 4 screws and below there I have a herniated disk pressing on my spinal cord. I get so angry at these people I hear asking for narcotics just to use recreationally. We are the ones suffering due to them. I'm so mad.

Hello, Carrie! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're in pain.

Do you currently have a PCP that you see regularly? If so, having them refer you to someone might be the quickest and easiest way to find the help you need.

Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area?

The FDA lists narcotics as possibly being habit forming and causing side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation and dry mouth.

Is therr a group of people who like me are willing to complain to the powers that be in control of keeping ligitimsye people who are suffering in pain, in order to get the fakers off these medications. We need to speak up for our rights. I would so much rather be working. Please let us get together and demand our rights as people hurt on our jobs or no fault of our own.

Verwon, hope you remember me. Verwon I need help here in okc. I'm about to have to spend 250.00 just to see a pain mngmnt DT. And its going to be a huge hardship on me. I was hurt on my job and civil service did not pay into disability so I draw the minimum. I am on fentayal.75mcg norco 5 times day, gabapintin, tramadol zanaflex, not to mention antidepressants and anxiety meds. Is there any Dr you know of in this area who would see me on medicare.. I will be getting a new MRI on Wednesday

carrie, go to the Medicare.gov website and put Physician Compare in their search box. That will tell you what drs will accept Medicare where you live.

Verwon, I hope you remember me.I had made a typo on my post concerning my fentaynal patch, supposed to read,1 -.75 MCG each 3 days, however they only last 2 days, and I've now had to stop physical therapy which was doing wonders for my mobility and depression. I had changed Doctors who lowered my doseages and this was the result. Now I've lost this Doctor because they called for a random UA and pill count and I had no way to make it there, I am without transportation, and sooner ride requires three days notice for transportation. I am so worried Verwon. I live in okc and I have no idea who to go to. Do you know anyone in this area. I'm going for a new MRI on Wednesday, so I will have that to take.Verwon you have no idea how good it is to have someone who understands what people like me in this kind of pain means to me, I thank God you are there. I'm very sorry, Carrie, but no, I don't know anyone in OKC. I'm in the Pacific NorthWest.

That's likely going to be listed in your records as noncompliance, which might further complicate this issue.

The best idea I have would be to contact your nearest major hospitals and ask to speak to someone in their social work department/patient assistance. They usually keep a list of doctors just for people in your type of situation, so they may be able to help you.

You can also try to idea that BL provided.

Did you explain to them that you couldn't get there?
