normal since childhood...at the age of 16 , dont know why...the micro blood vessels in the lungs leak out blood..following heavy chest congestion. i consulted the best doctors in india...at AIIMS,PGI,DMC,etc...had tests of everything,my blood, spasm, stool, urine, even went for BRONCHIOSCOPY...but nothing was diagnosed...
doctors named it as IDIOPATHIC PULMUNORY...cant remember the full name.
and i was on steroids i.e WYSOLONE 40 mg for almost two years...
after i was looking horrible after steroid doses, i tried unani medicine....in addition, i noticed dat my lungs bleeding is worsened by coffee, fish, mango powder,nd heavy physical exercise.
as the time passed by, the unani medicine nd my avoidance of the eatables listed above...did a miracle nd now i am quite normal...nd lost good weight.
presently, i suffer lungs congestion (congestion due to blood clots over the lungs) once in a 4 month period...i take MEDROL along with TELEKAST L for a week and quit after being comfortable with lungs in a week.
i usually take 8 mg medrol for a week every 4 to 5 months...does it cause any harmful effects to worry about on my body ????
* reading my story, can u diagnose smething ????
regards

I'm sorry, but no one is going to be able to diagnose your problem from a brief post on the Internet, especially if your doctors couldn't do it with all the tests that they have done.

As to the Medrol it contains the active ingredient Methylprednisolone, it is a corticosteroid and can cause side effects, just like the other steroid that you were on.

These may include: nausea, headache, weight gain and fluid retention, however, if you are only using it for a week at a time, then it is unlikely that you will experience a lot of them.
