Non Narcotic Pain Med. For Miss Painful

no doctors want to prescribe pain meds. and I 'am in so much everyday and worse at night 2 problems .1.spasms omg very painful needles shooting in my back ,and neck. migrains .well, went to another doctor I don't know, and my problem was in my head ,told me to see a quack .he needs to see one .they are to scared to give me a pain pill. and I don't have good ins.my finger was swollen to and I do no it needed to be drained, he saw it and at that time I was to mad to feel my pain in my finger so he basically said go home find a psy. oh and drink orange juice. if there is some one out there these problems don't go to dr. Polite on Wendover, just sayin

Hi Angie,

Sorry to hear about your situation with being unable to receive appropriate care. I really don't see the point of them making everyone have health insurance if most doctors aren't even willing to accept it anyways.

Have you tried looking into any OTC options such as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory meds, herbal remedies, or perhaps even medical cannabis? (If you happen to live in one of the states that decriminalized its use). I hear from a lot of pain patients who've said that they actually get a comforting level of relief from cannabis (using CBD's and/or THC) every few hours, depending on how it's taken; i.e. - edibles/capsules/vaporization. From what I understand, it does a pretty good job of taking your mind off of the pain. So maybe that might be something to consider as well. Here in California all you need is a doctor's recommendation for using it, and then you can freely go from dispensary to dispensary and see what options they have available.
