New Pain Management Doctor

My insurance allows to change doctors as often as needed, no pcp needed, also need good pain management doctor, currently have one in a hospital, do they charge alot more than one who has their own office. I was charged $2600 for an epidural, where other places charge 200/300. I lorain, ohio area. Is this correct. Shes really a rehabilitation specialist? please help

Hello, Dave! How are you?

There is no set amount that they may or may not charge. Fees are going to depend on the doctor, their years of experience, the treatments proffered and etc.

Do you have a PCP? If you do and can have them refer you to someone, that may be the easiest way to find a good pm specialist in your area.

Does anyone else know of any good doctors in that area?
