New Generic Suboxone Film
UpdatedHi, I was informed just two days ago from my pharmacist that there is now a generic form of Suboxone film available and that's what Medicaid receiptents will receive opposed to the Brand-name Suboxone film. Ironically, my pharmacy was completely out of the generic therefore, I was able to have my insurance still approve the name brand although, I'm sure that'll change soon. Has anyone been given the generic film yet? If so, did you notice any difference or any negitive effects?

I have never taken this medication, so I can't speak as to experiences with it. Can anyone else that has taken it, already, please chime in with what you think of it?
The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, and headache.
It is normal for a generic for become available and for most insurance companies to require that their customers switch to the generic, in order to lower costs. Most insurance companies will allow for a certain grace period, where they will still cover the name brand, to give time for the generic to be distributed to pharmacies throughout the country.
Re: Verwon (# 1)
I've been taking suboxone 8mg films for about 3 years now. I was taking 2 a day but the Dr brought me down to 1 and a half a day. Last month I went to Walmart and they gave me the generic and they suck. They give me a headache and I feel sick everyday. I'm trying a different pharmacy cuz Walmart sucks. I always have to wait an extra day and then they give me this generic s*** that makes me feel sick. Hopefully I can find them.
