My research leads me to believe that B vitamins can help to improve focus and concentration. I've personally used Vitamin B 12 trans dermal patches, which were quite effective and gave me a great boost of energy. Trans dermal patches can be better when taking certain vitamins because 95% or more of the active ingredients get distributed straight into the blood stream.

Also, I just thought I'd ask... Is medical cannabis legal where you live? The Sativa variety can sometimes be effective for focus and concentration if used safely and in moderation.

Unfortunately, I have known cannibis is mentioned in the melatonin Book of Russell reiter's research for increasing the melatonin production by 400%, not good for focus- butn rather sleep. When you sleep is when you heal,so there is something to be said for the cancer help it can be, besides getting them to eat. It boosts the immune system too.
As for energy and brain function, fish oil, magnesium and all the B vitamins together. They are a complex and should be taken together- all are neuro vitamins, and also E especially natural E (d alpha tocopherol not DL akpha tocopherol- look at those slowly). DL is left handed, artificial and of no use. Most studies that say E is useless forget (Ha!) to disclose they were using fake E. E deficiency will also cause poor gait, and muscle weakness. It is particularly important for fetal development and brain development. It can be a major factor (with the B complex) in the baby's ability to know how to "latch on" , those that are deficient, can appear to be, well, stupid. Get some red palm oil into them as soon as possible, a fingerful in the mouth.

That's very interesting information! Maybe the study was done on Cannabis indica? I believe that Cannabis indica is the best for deep sleep and meditation, because it's more of a "body high" and can create a sense of calm. Cannabis sativa, based on my personal experience (as well as the experiences of others I've spoken with regarding this topic), is actually quite stimulating because it's more of a head "high" (depending on the strain). It can really be helpful when you're trying to focus or concentrate, but feel light and stress free at the same time. Of course, you need to use it in moderation because too much of anything is not beneficial. Not all strains of cannabis are created equally. :)
