This medication is unavailable in the U.S. and I am sorry to say that other countries do not regulate their prescription drugs as strictly as the FDA does. That said, finding information on them is very difficult, since there are no databases which list them all, like there are for U.S. prescription drugs.

The only thing I can suggest is that you try asking your doctor or pharmacist for more information.

There has been limited information available on this drug, but preliminary research suggests that Neopred is the brand of a drug available in Thailand. Is that where you are geogaphically located?

Further information gathered suggests that Neopred contains the active ingredients Neomycin and Prednisolone. The only discrepancy that I have found with this is the fact that you posted a 5 mg dose. If this is a combinational drug as suggested, then I would expect multiple doses to be listed to correspond with each active ingredient. Can you please confirm with the packaging exactly what it says ???

I use Neopred in Thailand for bad insect bites and itches related to the heat....Works wonders.
I have noticed on the package that it contains Prednisolone 5mg and neomycin sulfate 5mg.
What Roy has said is correct.

My wife is using the tablet namely neopred 5mg for her skin deases but the same medicine is disapear in the market for sale. I humbly request you to kindly tell us where we can find any in gujarat. the said medecine is very useful to my wife. Please reply.

Nazir T, as your wife is having skin problems, i suggest that she try natural products instead of these chemicals. Try aloe vera & neem. {edited for privacy}.
