Need To Find A Doctor That Prescribes Pain Meds In Knoxville Tn (Page 3)

I just moved here and i have ra along with degenerative disc disorder that is extremely painful. I dont have a doc. so i haven't been taking any meds and it is hard to just walk. I am in pain everyday and need relief fast. Is there anyone y'all can suggest that may be able to help now?

Hi... i FOUND THIS OLD POST AND THOUGHT IT WAS WORTH A TRY TO GET IN TOUCH WITH YOU. i HAVE BEEN ON METHADONE FOR 18 YEARS FOR SEVERAL CHRONIC PAIN ISSUES. Ni HAD A COMPLETE HIP REPLACEMENT AFEW YEARS AGO AND JUST CAn't make the long drive to nashville anymore. Could you help me in finding a doc that does prescribe methadone. Hi I came across this old post of yours. I hope that you are still reachable. I had a hip replacement a few years ago and my prothesis has been recalled. nThis thing really is destroyng me pain wise. I hope that you can help me in finding a doc. I live in KY but will travel to VA or TN. I was driving 6-8 hours one way bto see a doc. I am not able to do that anymore. I was hoping to find a doc closer to home. If you still use this forum please let me know where I can go to get some help.

Does anyone know about a Dr. Sarlo on Asheville hwy? I thought it was against the law to charge cash or money orders? This doctor called me back and tld me 1st visit would be $400.00 and tld me to bring my insurance cards I have Medicare and bcbs of tn. I asked why and he responded back in a rude way saying " this is my business and I can run it how he wants to!" because I asked because of the laws being changed. I made the appt but don't think I'm going. Any info? I heard about a family care practice on Kingston pike but don't remember the name. Anyone know?? You can email me any places that's better. U have diabetic neuropathy,lupus,and fibromyalgia. For the past few years I've taken OTC products and its at the point they no longer work. I'm in pain everyday and my doctor refered me to pain clinic and didn't tell me where to go he wrote advanced in Knoxville tn but I'm not sure which one or what dr. He mentioned dr choo but his ratings were not very high can help me?

I have been Hiv Poz for 24 years and have a lot of skeletal pain including back and nerve damage. Hydocodone 10?325 help me at 3 or a day. But my doctor has been giving me problems the last several months and i have to see them 2 times a month. I dont know what to do. I would die of pain if i dont get that in my body. What should i do about the doctor problem and is there a better doctor out there that understands aids and the meds and the pain that goes with aids?

try Cornerstone in New market, i know its a bit of a drive but they are a primary care and very understanding, the nurse PA there is really sweet, her name is sally.

Is Sally like a PA and is she really caring and does she understand what a CP patient goes through on a daily basis 24/7? That's what I need and to be honest I don't care how far I have to drive to get good care. Ty so much!

yes she is really sweet, and they will work with whatever pain clinic you find and try to get you in with that new pain clinic, they do not perscrib meds but they will work with what ever place you find to help you get a referal and an apointment for that new pain cliinic.

Is there a new pain clinic? I'm looking but don't know what I should be looking for a friend has a history of iv drug use and its been a while but
It's still is in thetnotes will thst prevent her from the care she really needs

it is medicare fraud on u and the doctor if they charge u for a visit to a pain clinic knowenly u have medicare....and it is fraud if u pay because if u can pay for the doctor then u dont need medicare..call medicare and they will tell u that if u have medicare and they charge u and u do pay both can go to jail.

ok guys and gals this is the 411 for Knoxville, tn, this place sucks and with 40 plus pain clinics NOT ONE is friendly or wants to perscribe anything more than a few hydro's so your gonna have to find a clinic in the next closest big city , this is news DIRECT from my recently retired pain doctor, so i am in the same boat as everyone here, i have been turned down numourus times trying to get into a new clinic, the clinic i was at for 10 years with not one mis hap, missed pill count or missed or dirty tox screen, once they knew the main doctor was retiring, all the sudden they said i was dirty for alcohol on my last tox screen and discharged me with no warning what so ever, i was told everyone gets one warning if its not related to pot or street drugs and you take you perscribed meds as directed which i always did, so good luck guys.
