Hello, Maully! How are you doing? Sorry that you're in pain.
As to getting pain medications, if you require them on a long-term ongoing basis, then you'll need to see a pain management specialist. There were some new regulations put in place this year that severely restrict what general practitioners and surgeons can prescribe, how much they can prescribe, why they can prescribe it and how long they can prescribe it.
Have you asked your current doctor if they can refer you to someone? That would likely be the easiest way to get in somewhere and get the help you need.
