Hi! Sorry that you're in pain.
Is there any chance that your doctor can refer you to someone else for pain management?
The reason I'm asking is because you're in the part of the U.S. that was hit with the new regulations as of April 1st of this year, due to very high rates of over prescribing and improper prescribing of controlled substances…and due to these new regulations, general practice doctors are greatly restricted in what they can prescribe and how long they can prescribe it.
Thus, anyone requiring long-term treatment for pain will need to be referred to a pain management specialist and the easiest way to get an appointment with one of them is via referral.
Did you consider trying the injections? They do help many people.
