Naproxin 500 Mg

After six hours of taking hydrocodon-acetaminophen5-325 can I switch to Naproxin 500mg in order to drive safely, or should I wait longer?

How is the Hydrocodone affecting you? Is it making you dizzy, drowsy, or making you feel high? If so, you definitely won't want to be driving, while feeling like that. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause other side effects, such as nausea, dry mouth and constipation.

Otherwise, you should be able to switch, if your doctor approves. However, Naproxen is just a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, so it likely won't alleviate your pain as much. Typical side effects of it may include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation.
