He changed them due to the fact that the tyenol in them were eating away at my back where i had surgery, but they dont even begin to touch my pain. I have diabetic neourapythy, and several other things that cause severe pain, i dont want them to think that i am a drug seeker, because i am not. I am in so much pain, that it is difficult to even have a life anymore, and sleeping is out of the question, i might if i am lucky to get an hour a day. What do i do, i feel like i will die soon from the pain and not sleeping.

Hello, Renee! How are you feeling? I'm so sorry that you're suffering.

I understand why he cut the Acetaminophen, there are many possible risks associated with long-term use of high amounts of it…

But, did he adjust the amount of Oxycodone to make up for it?

The Acetaminophen potentiates the narcotic to make it work better, so if the Acetaminophen is removed, you'd need a higher dose of the Oxycodone to be equivalent. If he didn't raise the dosage of it to compensate, then that likely explains your problem and you'll need to take to him about it.

Learn more Percocet details here.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
