My Dr Cut On Off Subs Cold Turkey

I have been on suboxone for over a year. On the first paper work I filled out I put xanxa down on my drug list. Im possive all my ua's it showed up. Yesterday he turned me away with no medicine. I'm 61yrs. old have been on xanxa and efferor xr since losing my 16yr. daughter in auto accident and my husband falling off a ladder to his death. Legally can he do this to me???Signed, Sick in Illinois

Unfortunately, yes he can. I am very sorry, but under current U.S. law, he is not obligated to treat you, or prescribe anything, unless you are in life-threatening danger. I know, that really doesn't help, I am just letting you know how the law currently stands.

Have you been experiencing any withdrawal effects, which the FDA lists as possibly including nausea, dizziness, fever, chills, rebound pain, or seizures?
