What type of information are you seeking on it?
The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.
As to building up a tolerance to it, that is normal, if you've been taking the same dosage for a long period of time. If it is no longer working as well for you, you may need a dosage adjustment, or to try a different medication.
