Metocarbamol/codeine

I do have artritis in myneck and i was prescribe methicarbamol whith codeine,whats the diference between ,methocarbamol and the other one whith codeine

The Methocarbamol by itself is just a muscle relaxant, so it will only help with pain that is directly caused by muscle spasms or strains.

Codeine, however, is a narcotic pain reliever, so it is an analgesic that will help with pain from other causes, as well.

Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth.
