Methadone And Celexa

My doctor prescribed me 10mg of celexa + 0.5 mg of klonopin both for anxiety, and I take 20 mg of methadone daily for chronic pain from a clinic. Will the three mixtures hurt me, especially the celexa and methadone together?

Taking the Celexa, with the Methadone increases the risk of developing a prolong QT heart interval, and that has the potential to be fatal, so such combinations are recommended avoided by the FDA and the NIH. They are also both listed as increasing sedation.

What the prescribing doctor aware that you are taking Methadone?

Didn't know I had to be so detailed... I've been on methadone for 6yrs almost bit off an on since 2003 and celexa as well an each time the doc.knows im on methadone or vis versa. My concerns is my health problems I'm starting to have my feet an legs swelling up an hurting to the point I can't touch my legs. I have anxiety but the way my chest feels like a ton of bricks on them isn't the way I feel when having anxiety that has just started in the last couple months and actually going number 2 In my underwear while sleeping at night an not knowing till wake up in the morning could this be all from the combination?
